GOAL’s Educational Model Finds Favor with Students – Over 6,000 Anticipated!

PUEBLO, CO. — August 5, 2023

GOAL’s staff of more than 630 is passionate about helping students succeed regardless of perceived barriers including, but certainly not limited to: special needs, English language learners, teenage parents, social anxiety, victims of bullying, students who need full-time employment, and students ready for free college coursework.

2023 GOAL High School graduate Kelsey Allen gets some help from her son, Jasper, proudly presenting her high school diploma. GOAL’s flexible scheduling, online curriculum and student drop-in centers worked well for Kelsey to raise Jasper and complete her high school education. GOAL specializes in working around the many obstacles high-schoolers encounter.

Daniel’s Scholar and GOAL graduate, Fredy Schmid, pictured here playing the cello earned his Associate Degree at no cost compliments of GOAL High School’s concurrent enrollment program. While attending, Fredy also performed with the Colorado State University, Pueblo, orchestra. He has since gone on to graduate from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, with a degree in mechanical engineering. Fredy’s sister Emily, also a GOAL alum, graduated from Fort Collins with her degree in Biomedical Science.

GOAL Academy High School is a statewide, multi-district charter school authorized by District 49.  GOAL is a Microsoft Showcase School and provides online curriculum with in-person support at 37 student drop-in centers across Colorado.  Students can take college courses for free, earn career and technical certifications and receive excellent social and emotional support.  GOAL strives to help all students achieve their full potential in a caring, supportive and personalized environment.
